My career and what I have achieved

Sara Latagliata, event manager, originally from Taranto but adopted from Lecce, has decades of experience in the world of cultural, food and wine and tourism events.

Creator of the format “A Cena con la Duchessa- il gusto fa epoca” unique event reported by local and national newspapers, with more than 600 attendees for each edition.

For eight years the format sees sold out dates and the network of partners involved in the area, becomes more and more extended and branched, so much so that the Puglia Region, Department of Youth Policy, chooses Sara Latagliata as testimonial for the communication campaign, as a successful entrepreneur. This was followed by the Salento Entrepreneur of the Year award received from the Lecce Chamber of Commerce.

Sara’s professional background is multifaceted, with a degree in Cultural Heritage Conservation,

He then obtains a Master’s degree as a Manager for Tourism and Ecosustainable Development, to which he adds food and wine training at the Boscolo Etoile Academy and at 2 Michelin Stars.

In 2012 he won the Regione Puglia – Bollenti Spiriti call for tenders and created his Cooperative Society Nobili Pasticci, in ten years he organized events for Municipalities, Pro Loco, Training Schools, Wine Companies and private individuals.

She also became a successful Chef, and was awarded the Emerging Chef Award by the Radici Guide; for an entire year she was a guest on Prova del Cuoco as the only Apulian Chef.

Among his creations is the format “Chef in Cattedra – Taste Practices funded and promoted by the Region of Puglia and ARTI, Regional Agency for Technology and Innovation.


Chefs in the Chair
was the first event in Salento that involved Entrepreneurs and Michelin-starred Chefs from all over Italy, and in Cantele’s iSensi Laboratory, appointment after appointment, they recounted and shared best practices to adopt, for successful catering.

The meetings of an educational and experiential nature were complemented by event dinners usable through an entrance fee.

And again, among his creations is the format “Cibalia, of the culinary art of the Middle Ages,” organized in the Bari area, to enhance the historical and culinary traditions of the place through the enhancement of the restaurant realities present, through multi-date events and stages.

And again, for a long time he has been a member of the Executive of Slow Food Lecce, of Degusto Salento, taking care for events, such as (Rosèxpo- international exhibition of rosé wines) of the organizational part, of the reception of the professionals of the sector from time to time involved, of the coordination between the various professional figures and of the different timing of the event days.

Added to the wealth of his experience is his contribution given for the format “Ego- Eno gastro orbits” where she was responsible for the cooking masterclasses of the star chefs, the daily schedule, the coordination of the meeting matches between wineries and journalists, as well as the plannig of the exclusive dinner events, intended for journalists to appreciate the creations of the guest chefs.

In the area of training, it closes, currently the circle of its varied path, the Wedding Academy of Cira Lombardo (considered among the 10 best wedding planners in Italy).
